Your bounce rate is an instance where a visitor lands on your website and then goes no further, so exits without taking any other action. 
 
We all do it - land on a website and then for whatever reason click off, it could be loading speed, it could be site design, images, too much text, bad layout, the list is endless! 
 
You need to monitor your website's bounce rate and you can use Google Analytics for this. Generally an acceptable website bounce rate is about 50-55%. However, if your website has a good ranking on search engines then you are likely to see a higher bounce rate because your site will also rank highly for less relevant terms.
